The Witchery Single Cask 11yo Malt Whisky 70cl

Nose: Rich sherry and malt up front - raisin, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and orange peel. Beneath that, baked apple, dried apricot, honeyed cereal and a touch of polished oak. A little water brings out more red fruit and soft spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and oily. Dark chocolate, sultana, fig and stewed plum lead into roasted malt, walnut and espresso. Warming cinnamon and ginger build underneath, with a slightly earthy, savoury character typical of Dailuaine. Oily texture. 

Finish: Long and warming, with cocoa, dried fruit, toasted oak and peppery spice. Gradually becomes drier, leaving walnut, malt loaf and a lingering sherry sweetness.
